Tokens Helpdesk is a SMS Learning Circle subscription for a small group of colleagues or friends who want to work AI out side by side.

What you get

A Circle of 2 to 4 people. One person signs up and invites the others. Your Circle owns the subscription, so if someone steps away, the Circle keeps going. Everyone gets:

  • Daily SMS on the same schedule as any solo subscriber. Four subscriptions worth of daily posts, included.
  • Twice-a-week Circle posts. Every Tuesday and Thursday, all Circle members receive a synchronized post. Some are three-truths-and-a-lie (four AI answers to a real question, one is close-but-wrong, the Circle has to figure out which). Some are split-response puzzles where each person receives one of 3-4 cues, and you combine what you got to reach the answer. Some are three-part habit builders that only work if the whole Circle pitches in.
  • 12 Circle questions a month, reviewed by a human within 24 hours. Ask them all as a group or split them across the Circle. Unused questions roll forward, up to 36 banked. Text a question anytime, get a considered answer back the next day.
  • A monthly IRL Circle Activity. Every month your Circle receives a Challenge designed to bring you together in person (or on a synchronous video call for long-distance Circles). Something you meet up over, not text about.
  • A monthly Circle progress PDF. Delivered on the first of every month. Shows what your Circle worked through, what you figured out together, and what habits you built. A record you can share with your team, your boss, your accountant, or nobody.

How the Circle works

  1. One person starts the Circle. Sign up, pay, and pick your Circle name. You are the host, which means you invite the others and manage the roster. The subscription belongs to the Circle, not to you personally.
  2. Invite 1 to 3 others. Text a link to your friends or colleagues. When they consent to receive messages, they join the Circle. Minimum 2 people to activate. Maximum 4.
  3. The Circle receives its first post. Everyone in the Circle gets the same text at the same moment. Some are the same across all members. Some are split, so each person receives different cues that the Circle combines.
  4. Ask questions when you need to. Any Circle member can text a question to the helpdesk. You decide who receives the reviewed answer within 24 hours, and every question and answer is stored in the Circle’s monthly PDF.
  5. The monthly PDF arrives on the 1st. Everything your Circle worked on last month, plus the next Circle Challenge.

What Circle challenges feel like

In addition to daily habit texts, Circles receive twice-a-week notes designed to be fun. Not homework. Not a webinar. Something you look at on your phone, text your Circle about, and figure out over the next hour or the next day. Similar to how a good crossword works between friends who text each other.

  • Three truths and a lie. A real question a small business might ask AI. Four answers arrive in the Circle. Three are correct in different ways. One is close-but-wrong in a way that matters. The Circle has to figure out which is which, and why.
  • Split-response puzzles. Each Circle member receives 3 to 4 cues about a topic. A prompt, a use case, a warning, a shortcut. Alone, the cues are incomplete. Together, they form the answer. The Circle texts each other to assemble it.
  • Three-part habit builders. Each Circle member receives one part of a complete AI habit. One person gets context. One gets instruction. One gets the verification step. Some challenges are heavy. Some are light. All are meant to earn the “collaborate or dominate” text you send to the group chat.

The IRL rule

The twice-a-week Circle posts happen on your phones. The monthly Circle Challenge happens with your phones down.

Circles are for people who already talk to each other. The monthly Challenge is a reason to actually be in the same room. Cook something. Walk somewhere. Print something and vote on it. Do a task without AI and compare.

Circles spread across cities are welcome to use video for the monthly Challenge. Every Circle we’ve watched work well has one thing in common: the members already meet up sometimes. If your Circle is 4 people who can be in the same room once a month, you’re going to get a lot out of this. If your Circle is scattered, the twice-a-week posts and the questions still land, and the monthly Challenge becomes a scheduled call.

The math

Monthly: $89 for the Circle.

Annual: $890 for the Circle. Ten months for the price of twelve.

One subscription per Circle. How your Circle splits the cost among members is up to your Circle.

Founding rate: $890/year is the founding rate, locked in for the first 20 Circles. Rate holds as long as your Circle stays subscribed.

Who joins a Circle

Circles work best when the members already talk to each other. Friends who worked together and still text. Colleagues in a small business. A husband, wife, and two adult kids figuring out how AI fits their family business. A fractional CFO and her three regular clients. Four solo consultants who ran into each other on LinkedIn and stayed friends.

Circles don’t work well for strangers who join to network. The mechanic depends on people who trust each other enough to say “wait, I got something different, what did you get?” without it feeling like a test.

If the Circle you have in mind is 2 people who talk every day, that’s a Circle. If it’s 4 people who barely know each other, sit with it for a week and see if the group chat happens naturally before you sign up.

What TokensHelpdesk is not

  • Not a helpdesk for lost passwords. The name is a nod to the mental model of “the place at work you text when you need something figured out.” The subject is AI, not IT.
  • Not a community. Circles are small groups that already exist. TokensHelpdesk does not run forums, moderate discussion, or connect strangers.
  • Not a course. No modules, no completion certificates, no video library. The learning happens in your Circle’s group chat and in the questions you ask.
  • Not raw AI access. You already have ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or Gemini. TokensHelpdesk adds a human review layer and a small-group learning rhythm on top of the AI you already use.

Frequently asked

How is this different from CutTokenCosts? CutTokenCosts is a solo SMS subscription. Daily posts, self-assessment questions, monthly cost estimator. The Learning Circle includes all of CutTokenCosts for every Circle member, and adds the twice-a-week group posts, the 12 Circle questions with human review, and the monthly PDF and Challenge. If you want AI learning as a group, join a Circle. If you want it solo, CutTokenCosts is the right fit.

What if a Circle member wants out? They text STOP. The Circle continues with the remaining members as long as at least 2 are still in. The host can invite a replacement when they’re ready.

What if the host wants out? Host duties transfer to any other Circle member. The subscription and payment method transfer with it. The Circle keeps its name, its history, and its PDF archive.

What happens to unused questions? Roll forward, up to 36 banked. So if your Circle uses 5 questions in June, 7 roll to July, giving you 19 available in July. If your Circle uses 3 in July, the balance keeps growing up to the 36 cap. Nothing expires as long as the Circle is active.

Are the answers written by AI or by a human? Both. Every question is answered by AI first, then reviewed by a human within 24 hours before it goes back to your Circle. If the AI answer is right, the human confirms it. If it’s off, the human corrects it. Either way, the human’s initials are on every reply.

What if the Circle members use different phone carriers or different phones? It works. SMS is universal. iPhone, Android, iOS, older phones with SMS-only. Everyone receives Circle posts and question answers the same way.

Can I try it before committing? Yes. First month is $89 flat, no annual commitment. Cancel by texting STOP at the end of the month. Roll to annual anytime.

What if we want more than 4 members? Right now, Circles are capped at 4 to keep the puzzle mechanic intact. If your team is 6 or 8 people, either run two Circles side by side or contact us at Connect@TokensHelpdesk.com so we can talk about what makes sense.
